Did you know that it’s not always necessary to launch a whole new website? It could be possible to focus on a revamped one instead.
Case in point… A UK-based client specialising in the recruitment of elite armed forces professionals for super yachts, approached me with two main business objectives:
- Following unsuccessful outcomes with two design agencies, they were desperate for a logo.
- To redesign their existing website to make it look more dynamic.
Revamped website
We created a new plan for the Insignia Crew website with the following tweaks to make it more dynamic, mainly focussing on the homepage:
- New logo design.
- Slider banners.
- Call-to-action buttons on the slider.
- New headline and call-to-action buttons underneath the slider.
- New parallax slider with overlay text and button.
- Dynamic crew profiles which link to a new crew profile page / cleaner layout.
- Resized blog excerpts.
- Added a testimonial carousel to the footer.
- Added a newsletter sign-up form to the footer.
The Outcome
“I love the website. Its clean, crisp and professional, which in today’s world is rare as most people just want to put as much information on as possible and then make their sites look horrible.” – Andy Christopher, Graphic Designer for Yachting Pages Media Group
“We recently used TUBU to re-vamp our website, improve SEO and to assist us with finding someone to design our logo. What struck me most about Catherine is that she has 360-degree knowledge of all the areas she works within which saved us money but also time which is priceless when growing a business. You can be a designer and make things look great but not get where things should go to enhance traffic/sales. Catherine understands small businesses as runs one herself, she gets marketing, sales and design – links them altogether and POW you have your project sorted, to deadline and at very affordable rates, all without the hassle of recruiting/employing/managing someone to do it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TUBU and we’ll continue to use TUBU as our business grows. Thank you Catherine, you’ve indeed been our right-hand woman and our left leg!” – Annalise Holme, Director of Insignia Crew, UK.
